Hoof Care Practitioner Patrice Sager of Lost City, WV sent these clips in from You Tube and they really do say it all. Educating your clients is key to selling hoof boots. EasyCare has an excellent website for educating yourself, clients and sales staff in order that they may truly understand the significance of the barefoot lifestyle; how and why EasyCare hoof boots and Comfort Pads are used and why they should play a part in every barefoot horse's life.
EasyCare has a very broad advertising campaign to promote our products and dealers. If you are not on our dealer search you may be missing out on potential business. Here are just a few magazines where you will find our advertisements...
Take some time to check and see if you are listed on the dealer search, it may just help you sell more boots. Remember, these are just a few magazines where you will find EasyCare ads, don't miss an easy opportunity to have a customer locate your store.
EasyCare has it's new interactive 2008 catalog up on the web. It can be downloaded and/or sent to your customers. This is a great resource if your customers need information on how to measure, deciding which boot is right for them, or reading more about our products. Not only does it contain product updates and information, but it summarizes our 2007 Hoof Boot Contest and provides numerous testimonials from our customers. Last year, thousands of these catalogs were downloaded from our site.

Three EasyCare employees will be attending Equine Affaire January 31-February 3 at the Fairplex in Pomona, California. Nancy Fredrick, Marcie Mendoza and Karen Chaton will be on hand to give out information and user tips. This will be an information booth only and we will be sending interested customers to the vendors that carry our products. If you will be a vendor at the show please stop by our booth (building 8, booth 841) and give us your information so that we can send customers to you!
It is always helpful to have a preprinted page made up that lists your company name, booth number, products available from your location and how to reach you after the show. Many customers need to go home and measure for hoof boots and will order once Equine Affaire is over.

The Black Heritage Riders are going strong as Miles Dean and Sankofa along with Reggie Gough make their way on a journey riding horseback from New York to LA! Miles Dean, executive director of the New Jersey-based non-profit organization set out on a 6,000-mile trek from New York to California in September. The 58-year old elementary school teacher is on a mission to educate people about African-American contributions and achievements. Dean tries to average about 30 miles each day he is on the road and he hopes to reach California by February, which is Black History Month. Hoof Care Practitioner Carrie Christiansen of Browns Mills, NJ provided Miles horses with a good trim, boots and education on booting. Dean's horse sports Old Mac G2's in the front and Easyboot Epics behind, all with Comfort Pads. Check them out in action and click here to track their progress!
We (Karen, Cathie, Chris, Debbie and Brian) are settling back into the office after a busy 5 days in Denver. We were attending the WESA show. We had a great time talking to dealers about our current product line, as well as some exciting new additions we have going to have 2008. If you had a chance to stop by, thanks for taking the time, if you could not make it, please feel free to contact us with any questions. As always, we appreciate your business.
By now you all of EasyCare's Dealers should have received a 2008 dealer packet. If you have not yet received one, please call us at 1-800-447-8836 and we will be happy to send you one. It contains a catalog, calendar, dealer letter and a price sheet.
We have implemented a new pricing structure, which should benefit many of you. The 2008 price structure is a "level" or "tier" structure that is based on what you purchased from EasyCare last year. Your rep will let you know what level you currently buy at and how you can achieve deeper discounts.

Winter weather can be responsible for stresses that can compromise your horse's health. The good news is that you can prevent some of that stress through proper feeding management. Most horses have some "down time" in winter, where adverse weather will not permit much riding or showing activity. It is during these times that it is easy to neglect your horse's nutrition program.
