We still get several requests a month for boots that will fit wide feet. Although more horses have feet that are longer than wide, some horses have feet that are wider than long. As a general rule the Old Mac's Original G1 is the best boot for wide feet. If your horses feet measure wider than long, the best boot will be the G1.
In the photo below the G2 is on the left and G1 on the right. It's easy to see the wide shape of the G1.

It would be great if you made a G2 type boot for wide feet too, or maybe adapted one of the other designs with early breakover to have a wide fitting as well.

Why don't you make wide boots for bigger feet?
The majority of 'wider than long' feet have some draught horse in them, and are therefore BIG feet.
On our livery of 15 barefoot horses, all bar one have feet wider than they are long, and 3/4s of them have feet too big to fit into the largest G1's. Annoyingly all 5 of my horses feet (and they're not big horses either!) are too big for the old macs.
Are there any plans to bring out a boot more suitable for the cob types?
