Australia & New Zealand

I’m finally getting caught up from a recent trip to New Zealand and Australia.  Although the purpose of the trip was business, we had the opportunity to explore many wonderful places in both countries. If you live in either country you’re lucky.  If you don’t live in either country and haven’t been for a visit put it on the travel list.  You won’t be disappointed.

Dr. Tomas Teskey came down to Australia with us and we did a three day barefoot and hoof boot workshop for a large group of retailers in Brisbane Australia.  The workshop was promoted by our Australian distributor Saddlery Trading Company (STC).  STC has done a wonderful job with our product line and is helping educate the retailers and horse owners about the advantages of keeping horses barefoot and using hoof boots.

The following weekend we attended a Pete Ramey barefoot clinic outside of Melbourne.  Pete and Ivy put on an incredible clinic and both my wife Lisa and I learned a great deal from the weekend.  Pete gave me the opportunity to help with the booting section of the class and share my experience with hoof boots.  The weekend with Pete and Ivy Ramey was a huge learning experience and has given me several ideas that will improve the care of my own horses and improve EasyCare's current hoof boot designs.
