Training gaiters

P1010154Training gaiters sounds like something you'd see on Animal Planet doesn't it?  This is actually a pretty simple little trick that will make putting your brand new Easyboot Epics or Bares on a lot easier.  After you've used your new boots on a couple of rides the gaiters get more flexible and you won't need to worry about wrestling any gaiters from then on.  Look for a link in a side column for a photo album showing more photos on gaiter training.

love it!!! does it matter what temp the water is? how long should be boots be left in the water?
Laney

Hi Laney: I've always just used water out of the tap, or hose, or whatever was in the trough :). Just dip them in for a few seconds or run water over the gaiters until you can feel that they are wet. If you fold the gaiters back in that position after each use, or after you rinse them clean from using them, that will keep them from 'wedging' between the horses heel and the boot and they will be a lot easier to work with!

Can I leave Easyboot Bare boots on for days? The Epic article said to leave them on only for 24 hours.
