Using the Glove while transitioning without a comfort pad. My horses are a little over a yr bare foot. I have been using the glove when they indicate the need for protection. Going bare when they ride out nice. Is it fair of me to transition this way? The "Glove" has been a great boot, I have no problems to report. I do know that it is recommended to use comfort pads while transitioning to bare. The "Glove" is recomended with no pad. Soooo, my confusion continues with using this product on my horses as they make the transition. Also, what are the indicators that they have completed the transition? Some horses, I'm sure will always require a boot for added protection. I did end up with an absess after riding without protection in conditions that I was not prepared for. Will always boot up when entering unknown territory. Thanks so much for your thoughts on my questions.
