I have always wanted the opportunity to bale my own hay. Hay in Arizona continues to get more expensive and the quality seems to be going down. Good timothy or orchard grass usually costs over $10.00 per bale.
This weekend we started working on our first cutting at our Durango property. We have mostly orchard and timothy but do have one field that is alfalfa and timothy. The complete experience is new to me but I love tackling new challenges.
