I have received dozens of e-mails regarding the Easyboot Glove. People are excited about the Glove, the low profile, the streamline design, the lack of hardware, the light weight and the affordable price of $55.00. Although everyone is excited many people have questioned if it's easy to apply and remove. "How can a boot without hardware work so well if it's not extremely hard to get on?"
I took a couple short videos today of application and removal of the Easyboot Glove on Cyclone's four feet. These are the same boots and the same horse that placed second in the Las Cienegas 65 mile event last Saturday. They were fitted the same way before the endurance race.
Application and removal are easier than any other EasyCare hoof boot. Very, very easy.
Short videos showing Easyboot Glove application and removal can be found below. Yes, it really is that easy! Listen to the suction of the boots when they are being removed in the second video.
Wow!
One minute to put on and thirty seconds to remove 4 boots.
That really is an EASY boot!!!
Well done Garrett. They just keep getting better and better!!

Garrett - you just don't know how very excited I am after watching the video. THANK YOU for continuing to strive to create simple yet effective boots. I can't wait to get my hands on a pair of Gloves for my distance horse!

can you tell us what the sole/tread is please. Will the tread have the same length of life as the epics/bares or are they a lightweight boot designed for a shorter life? Any chance of a picture of the sole please?
One of my horses is quite heavy in boot wear and I need soles and tread up to the standard of the bares.
They look great to get on and off and no catches to break! Great work.

I am so stoked about these new boots! Can't wait to try them all the way around. I also would love to see the bottom tread of the boot? Will these have options to put in the studs for better grip in slick conditions? How do they hold up? Equal to the other easyboots?
Thanks! ~E.G.

About how many miles have you used one pair of Easyboot Gloves? Did I read correctly that you will be selling a package of 4 for $55?

Kathy- I have a couple pairs with between 350 and 370 miles. The Easyboot Glove will be sold per boot $55.00 per boot.
The EasyBoot Glue-On will be sold in a 4 pack.

In addition to the hoof boot changes EasyCare is looking to partner with 1-2 riders in each AERC region. We are looking for riders that plan to do 500+ yearly miles and have a good grasp of hoof boots and hoof boot fitting techniques. We have 4 new hoof boots that will hit the market in 2009 and the selected regional riders will help EasyCare introduce the new designs in their region. EasyCare will compensate the selected riders. If you have any interest please respond.
Garrett,
I appreciate the fact that you are considering selecting 2 riders from each region. But 500 miles might be a little much! What with the economy at this point and time, and some regions just don't have the amount of rides that the Western Region does! A lot of those riders have the XP Pioneer rides/multiday rides. Have you looked at the Northeast rides? Not as many certainly as the Western or Southern rides!
So please re-consider.
I myself would be interested in this program.
But I really doubt I'll get to do more than 300-400 miles this coming year due to economic restraints!

I am a former female jockey back in 1980's, still have 3 quarter horses and am excited about the new glove boots. I haven't started riding in any boots yet but ride almost daily in my arena and lots of miles on weekend rides. Looking forward to using these. I ride with about 20 girls from time to time and speak at some 4-h meetings in my area.
