I had a great weekend of hoof boot testing. I was able to put some long hard miles on a new gaiter version, athletic tape with Easyboot Gloves, Easyboot Glue-Ons with Gorilla Glue and Easyboot Glue-Ons with Goober Glue. I got some awesome photos today in rough muddy conditions. Only problem is I lost my camera up at the top of the mountain and I can't share any photos, crap. I'm heading back up tomorrow with some other horses to look for the camera.
Here is the area we went today. From the house we gain 3,500 feet in roughly 6 miles. The steep conditions are very hard on boots and make it very easy to see what works and what doesn't. These photos are at roughly 9,500 feet, we live down in the valley floor at the bottom. The second view in the opposite direction shows we can climb a couple thousand more feet.
As much as I look forward to hearing how the individual tests fared in taxing conditions, the pictures you posted are gorgeous. Are you sure you didn't lose the camera on purpose so you would have an excuse to go back the next day?

Its a nice area, I love it. I did go back up the next day and did not find the camera. Time for a new one!
