What a great offer! Sign me up!
For those of us who have never completed Tevis does that include the buckle if we complete?
My barefoot horse has done endurance with many types of boots for 7 years now and I have seen many great improvements in the EasyCare line.
I just ordered 4 Grips to be used in yet another one of my crazy experiments.
Thanks,
Don Huston

Absolutley!! If you guys make some Gloves that will fit either of my geldings, I'll take you up on that offer. Right now one's in 2 Epics and the other is barefoot all the time.

Dianna

GREAT idea! I'll raise my hoof since my plans are for 2010 & I currently ride in Epics, Bares, & Gloves. Loved the 3 wks I had the Glue Ons on my horse.

Jas Shearer-Mcmahon

Hi Garrett,
Sign me up for the 2010 Tevis! I am gaining on the learning curve for the Glue-ons and I am anxiously awaiting the new style Glove gaiters that should solve my rub problem.

Thanks,

Jas

Hey Garrett, is that you and Cyclone? Nice.

I'm campaigning a horse right now that we're thinking about getting out there for 2010. I'm checking with his owner now, will depend on how the year goes but we may hold off til 2011. I'll let you know.

Hi...

I would be very interested. I use Easy Boots all the time on my barefoot horses. Completed Tevis 40 years ago...and tried last year!! Next year!

Well, my plan was for either 2010 or 2011. My current mare has only lost a boot once. I'm just not sure if she's "the one" yet! My up and coming guy has all the potential, but I know the original Easyboots won't work for him since his hooves are cylindrical rather than conical. I haven't started experimenting with the new boots yet because I have a pretty good stock of originals. But I am pretty determined to try to get to Tevis w/o shoes and would love to take you up on this offer! Either way, I wish all who do, good luck!

Hi Garrett, I responded on the email! Sign me up! I'd love and appreciate your offer! I was going to do it this year. The late fee knocked me out...Just rode from Robinson to Foresthill in the gloves and was fine. I also don't see a rubbing issue as long as they are rinsed off which is so easy w/o hardware. Off, rinse, back on...quick! So I'd LOVE to ride Tevis next year in 4 boots for you! Been working on that for awhile anyway! AND..we have the same last name too!!

There's a FORD Tevis cup rider wearing easyboots proudly in 2010 for you if you want!

Wish I could..I would be doing it in boots anyway. But I have only a 20yo (21 then) and a 4yo (5yo then) to ride and a non-100miler 12 yo. I doubt Chey has another Tevis in him (mainly cause his hocks will not take that much rock and downhill anymore...metabolically he is prob still a 10yo, LOL). So if you want to offer a horse too (or INSTEAD of the entry fee), I would be SO game!

If Raven's up for another Tevis in 2010... sign us up! No more nails in my horses hoofs ever! I'm mostly a barefoot purist... but the glue on boots are certainly the next best thing & good for Tevis for sure! See you at Robie in a couple weeks!

Tami Rougeau

Like you were reading my mind! Sign me up. We have set that as our goal for this year and next. After a ver frustrating year of rehab along with the happiness of a new foal we were already planning 2010. The Epic work like a dream on May but I am hoping that Dave will help me with getting the gloves to work this fall. If nothing else they will work quite nicely for Fancy with her perfect shaped foot. Thanks Garrett.

Hi Garrett,
Tevis is a long way for me....I live on the East Coast, don't even know how I would get out there, although I'd love to! How about the Old Dominion for those East Coast Folks?

I'd llke to do Tevis next year and booted is the only option for me! Sign me up!

Lucy Chaplin Trumbull

Let's take these rides one at a time, shall we? Get *this* year's Tevis out the way before signing up for next year's (but if all goes well - we'll be there next year too).

We're taking a leap of faith and going with Glue-ons on the back too, even though my horse is a notorious right-rear boot-twister-off-er-er. Endurance gods' willing (and Garrett's help at Robie to glue those suckers on tight) we'll have a fun day in our rubber boots (carrying sparesie Gloves on the saddle for peace of mind...). I'm stoked! The horse...not so much

Lisa Sargent

What a wonderful offer. I'd love too as well and hopefully have the horse for it now. I also love the suggestion to pool our crew!! (I think that was on email)

Hi Garret,

I have a new stallion that's in the transition period from shoes to boots to barefoot and I would love to sign on with you for the 2010 Tevis. We weren't quite ready for this year and I have completed successfully three times in the past.

Thanks for the offer.

I was signed up for the 2009 Tevis but had to cancel due to a family illness, however, we are planning for the 2010 Tevis. My horse is barefoot now and a friend of mine is trimming him for me with plans of trying your boots. That would be great! Thanks, Karen

I'm so envious, we are not in the States. Here in the UK I have a great group of barefoot horses, competing at 50 mile at present, how about Garret coming over here to give a hand with booting, gluing and showing the sceptical endurance folk , what is achievable these days.
Pauline.

What a great idea! Sign me up. We're transitioning all of our horses to bare feet and boots. This gives me a year to figure out what the heck I'm doing!
And with some strange rubbing/scratches appearing I'm also looking forward to the new glove gaiters.
See you @ Tevis 2010!
