Now the cable is up over the buckle. This will allow you to stretch out the sides of the boot which will make it a LOT easier to get on. This is important to do with the 2005 and newer boots because there is not as much cable slack as the older boots. Some people get a new boot and can't get it on if they try to put it on the same way as their older boots -- and this is why. It's not because the boots are smaller.
