Easyboot Grips

  • Grips_07_031
We rode today in the snow and mud using Easyboot Grips on both of the horses. They did so well in them, even going up and down steep hills they never slipped. It was such fun!

Good Morning!
I'm super excited to be a part of team Easyboot. I'm from SE Pennsylvania and compete in the NE Region with just over 2000 miles accumulated over 12 years. Last year I was reserve National Champion in the 50 mile distance and I have easyboots to partly thank for the success of that year. The mare I was asked to compete had some rough shoeing and issues stemming from it. Easyboots were used on and off through the season until we got her hoof issues resolved.
This year I had a horse in for finishing work. Gabriel had never had shoes in his 10 years of life. Mr. Sites sent along sets of epics to use on our rocky trails. It's suffice to say that after using the epics on Gabriel I now carry epics on my endurance rides.
Old Dominion's Ft. Valley ride in Virginia proved to be quite eventful this year. Great rocky, mountainous trail as always. During the second loop, my mare Lynika lost a shoe. I tied her to a tree and slapped on my epic. Then out of nowhere a TRUCK comes up this trail. How that truck made it up there I'll never know. Air lift came to mind. Anyway, Lynika thought it strange enough to have a fit and break her reins. Off we go with one rein, an epic, and the 3 other shoes making the ominous clanking sounds. They were flip-flops by the time I got into the hold.
We finished in spite of ourselves and man I'm glad I had an epic. It WASN'T coming off.
I can't wait to hear your stories, questions and whatever else you will bring to the table.
Happy Trails!

Jim Apple

Hey ya'll from GO BAREFOOT natural hoof care in Tennessee.
My name is Jim Apple and I am the fourth generation in my family to be farriers and blacksmiths.I started shoeing horses in 1980 with my grandfather, then I went to horseshoing school in 1990 but I gave up shoeing in 1994. The last thing that I shod wasn't even a horse it was a pair of Devonshire oxen.
I still call myself a farrier and am proud to be one. No more metal shoes , just barefoot and boots.
I think i'll go hang an old Easyboot over my front door for good-luck in 2008!

Thank you for selecting me - I'm so excited to be a part of Team EasyBoot!

I live in north eastern California where I am a full time professional trimmer and boot fitter. I have been using Easy Boots since the late 80's when I used them over my endurance horse's shoes. Since going barefoot 6 years ago, EasyCare products have been on my horses' hooves over many miles and adventures. I was one of the original field testers for the Epics several years ago and I have been using them ever since, along with my favorite Bares.

I'm looking forward to an exciting new year as a part of Team EasyBoot!
