Easyboot Grips

  • Grips_07_031
We rode today in the snow and mud using Easyboot Grips on both of the horses. They did so well in them, even going up and down steep hills they never slipped. It was such fun!

Hello from Delaware, east coast USA and delighted to join TEB!

I am a part-time trimmer who loves teaching people to trim their own horses. I also trim 20 or so horses every month for owners who are not interested for whatever reason.

When not working, I like to spend the rest of my day with my rescued OTTB, Love Sunny Days (Not for Love-Best Terms). We found each other in late 2004 and this summer moved to “dressage school” at Foxden Farm in Chadds Ford, Pa with Peter Hansen, a VERY patient trainer! Both Sunny and I are dressage newbies.

I have used EC boots since 2002 but it was in 2004 that I actually began fitting most of the "styles" and got a better feel for what works best for each horse and each owner. Personally I hack out in Bares and stud them for winter. I like the lean lines. I sell mostly Epics and Generation 2’s. I carry all the pads and when a sore horse needs boots immediately, I start the owner with a pad & taping kit and run the boots to them as soon as they arrive.

There’s an article on my website where I discuss what I see as the niche filled by each boot. Go to www.4sweetfeet.com, then Articles, Booting Articles to "The Barebones on Boots".

Best wishes to all and Happy Holidays from Dawn, the eternal barnflye!
