Easyboot Grips

  • Grips_07_031
We rode today in the snow and mud using Easyboot Grips on both of the horses. They did so well in them, even going up and down steep hills they never slipped. It was such fun!

Here you go Dawn! Let us know if you have further questions!!

1. How to add a photo?

Click on the picture icon in the menu bar. A box will come up allowing you to select the picture you would like to add from your files. You can also select customize settings once you select the photo. Here you can change the size of the photo as well as the position. Be sure to click insert to add your photo. You'll then see it in your text. You can reposition the photo by dragging it to the location you like best.

2. How to stop blog posts from coming to email account?

You need to change your preferences. Click on the "overview" tab. To the right of the screen you will see a box called "TypePad Mail Preferences." The first question asks if you would like to receive mail from TypePad. You need to select "no" as it defaults to "yes." Be sure to click "save changes."

3. How to assign several categories to a post?

Select "assign multiple categories" from the drop down menu. Another box will come up for you to make your selections. Hold down the control key and click on the categories you want. Then click "ok."

4. What's a Track Back?

Someone adds a link to your site from their's. For example if they saw something on the Team Easyboot site that they thought was interesting and put a link to it in their blog. They want us to know that they're talking about us so they add the link in the "Track Back" box.

QUESTION ON BARES--SOME FRIENDS OF MINE TRIED THE BARES FOR THE FIRST TIME AND WHEN THEY FINISHED THEY TOLD ME THAT THEIR HORSES HAD A IMPRESSION ON THE FRONT OF HOOF WALL WHERE THE BAND GOES AROUND--HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM?
IF SO WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR--NOT HAD THIS MYSELF-
WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS? GOING TO TAKE A LOOK THIS WEEK. TOO TIGHT OR TOO LOOSE--ANY HELP--THANKS AGAIN.

Dawn Willoughby

I haven't had this problem but most clients go with Epics or G2s. I prefer Bares as they look "cleaner".

Here's my protocal: Soak new bares in hot water for a minute, then put on with no pads. If they do not rotate, then the size is good. Remove, put in pads (reds might move you up a size, others usually don't) Reheat. Apply.

For first ride, don't overdo it.

Check fit after first ride by checking distance between hoof wall and Bare. It shouldn't be much, like the thin side of a hoof pick. If necessary, tighten.

I have ridden with them not tightened down with no problem. If they are correctly tightened they can be a bit of a challenge to get off but its doable.

Maybe post some photos for us? I would be interested in seeing the situation.

TX and hope this helps, Dawn
