We rode today in the snow and mud using Easyboot Grips on both of the horses. They did so well in them, even going up and down steep hills they never slipped. It was such fun!
Just for the fun of it. Phlame prefers regular easyboots for rock climbing. This is in Catalina State Park AZ.

Hi Everyone! Sorry if I have not posted this in the right spot, I'm new to blogs!
I live in the Northeast. I recently heard a well-respected and experienced endurance vet say that due to "mechanics", horses shouldn't be wearing hoof boots for 25 miles (or longer). The fact that people thought that was OK concerned him.
It concerns me coming from someone I (and may other riders) respect. I did not have a chance to talk with him after he made the comment. Actually, he said it twice during a 2 hour group discussion about the use of hoof boots. Has anyone else heard a vet make a comment like this?
